Note to self: when playing trivial pursuit, the answer will probably be in English. So no matter how much you've watched Transylvania no Mori or Chou Wakusei Death Vulcan no Fuuin, "a creature that has no reflection, can't stand sunlight or garlic" will still be "vampire" and not "kyuuketsuki". Ergo, the answer you're shouting out will not be on the list.
That is all.
That is all.
I'm kinda giddy right now. And this will sound goofy to most of you (especially those of you that know Japanese XD; ). But today, I thought, "you know, I've never written my name in Japanese," so today, I wrote it out in hiragana. Yes, I know it's not the correct way to write a foreign name, but I. Don't. Care. XD I was like "Squee, I wrote my name!" *headdesk* I'm like a little kid.

I gave blood yesterday. This donation makes one gallon! I'm more proud of that than I should be, but oh well. The church I gave blood at is hiring an after school teacher. I have experience with teaching after school, and I miss doing it. But somehow, I just can't bring myself to call. I don't really know why either.
I'm trying to learn a bit of Japanese on my own before transferring to a university that has an East Asian studies program. I finished learning the basic hiragana alphabet today. I read in a kanji book that people can learn the hiragana or katakana alphabets in a day or two. I told my friend that, and she replied "Yeah, if they're CRAZY." So I intend tomorrow to prove I'm crazy! I'm going to attempt to learn the whole katakana alphabet in one day. We'll see if it works. I know I'd have to practice afterwards of course, but I do think I can do it. =) I'll feel accomplished if I can recognize most of the characters with relative ease after tomorrow. I guess it might sound like a foolish endeavor, but as I have very little to do right now, being school-less, job-less, and car-less (god I feel like a bum DX), I have to have something to do.
But I might be getting a car soon! And with that comes the ability to search for a job! And summer brings the ability to start summer classes! 8D There's an Alice Cooper song called "Lost in America". In it, the lyrics are along the lines of "I can't go to school cause I ain't got a car. I can't get a car cause I don't have a job. I can't get a job cause I don't go to school." That's rather how I feel sometimes.
